| The Training
The Northern Texas - Northern Louisiana (Synod) Mission Area has established the Parish Lay Mission Academy, a program of courses to train lay individuals to become certified Parish Lay Ministers. This is a two year course of study which includes courses in Bible, Theology and Ministry.
