Brief Description:
The Parish Lay Ministry Academy will be hosting our annual reunion on June 12, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church. The activities for the day will be focused on "Moving Forward" and will be geared toward giving participants tools to take back to our congregations where we can motivate our members to step into the future with a passion for mission. Activities will consist of worship, a delicious lunch (prepared by Chef Pr. Phil!), a speed dating event (to share ideas with other PLMers), a presentation offered by Bishop Assistant, Pr. Jane Mar, and classes led by Pr. Chuck Hubbard (Ethics of Food) and Pr. Norma Cooper (the Lutheran Course). If you've been a part of the PLM program, please join us for a day of fellowship and fun (with a little enrichment thrown in!).
